DBPA Control Center - When converting - Drop replayGain ID Tags?.

    Cornfused?.

in the DBPA Control Center Windows10 under Advanced Settings “When Converting.” There is an option to check or uncheck. Drop ReplayGain ID Tags.

what does the word “Drop” mean?.

if I put a check mark next to it. Does this mean to ADD?.

if I remove the check mark next to it. Does that mean to REMOVE?.

just want to add the ReplayGain (Not Apply) ID Tags to my FLAC files. When ripping a CD to hard drive.

    Thank you.

Drop means remove, if the tags are not there, then they are not added.

Drop when converting means to remove ReplayGain tags if your source files have that tag. To add replay gain tags during ripping add that dsp.

Thank you. I added the DSP ReplayGain under the DSP tab in CD Rpipper. Do I also need to download and install the ReplayGain codec. To be able to just have the ReplayGain ID tag function. Not sure if my Pioneer Elite SC97 AVR will recognise this ID tag. Hopefull. Some songs playback at a low volume. Some playback at an obnoxious volume. Do not wish to alter the song/FLAC file original volume.

Just want the ReplayGain ID tag. Not the ReplayGain (apply.)

    Thank you.

No the DSP effect is already included. It is very doubtful the pioneer would read the tag.

    Ok, thank you.

I understand, wishful thinking on my part with the Pioneer. Fingers, arms, legs and eyes crossed.

I found by adjusting the master volume on the Pioneer AVR to a middle level that is between the highest volume level of a track and the lowest. Makes it a little more enjoyable. I don&*8217;t mind the amplitude of a track. I celebrate that. Just don&*8217;t like the obnoxious volume increase on some tracks. Ducking to avoid woofers and tweeters rocketing out of my speakers.

thank you again. Are you the developer of these programs?.
