New Install / can't find my NAS to rip to

Bought a new computer and successfully re-downloaded the software but now I cannot get it recognize my NAS under the PATH and "set" as I could on my old computer running dBpoweramp CD Ripper.

Do you see the NAS in the file explorer? Can you access the NAS from the file explorer?

Re: New Install / can't find my NAS to rip to

      I have two NAS,

for example for some reason I can't write to:
This PC\WDMyCloudEX4100\Music\By Folder\Shared Music (path from "This PC")

      but I can write to:
      \\192.168.1.75\Public\Shared Music (path from "Network")

Either way I recommend against it. I rip to my fastest local disk as my initial target, then I do final editing and clean up. Only after the rip product is checked and perfect I use "Beyond Compare" to archive to local hard disk twice, two NASs, and three WD My Passport USB hard drives. One can never have enough backups. This is too important and too much work not to have multiple backups. And in my experience the initial rip product is not ready for archive, some cleanup is frequently required.

One can also map a NAS as a local drive. I've not found it necessary but it may work for you.
