Problems with properties of mp3 files converted

Days ago when I converted some music files to mp3, I saw what I think are 3 problems whit properties of the files converted.
See the attached file where I explain what I found:

Be careful with zip and doc files from unknown sources!

Re: Problems with properties of mp3 files converted

In the file "Doc1" attached I show 3 problems happened when I converted, as an example, the music "Year of the cat" of "Al Stewart" from FLAC to MP3 VBR -V 7.5 (I dont know if the problems occur in other configurations conversion). These are the problems:

1 &*8211; In the source file, the Original Size is 67.75 MB, while in the converted file it is 49.16 MB. Note that the change is proportional to the Sample Rate change: 67.75 / 44.1 * 32 = 49.16

2 &*8211; In &*8220;Audio Properties&*8221; tab of converted file, the Encoder is LAME 3.99r, while in the tab &*8220;ID-Tag&*8221; it is Lame 3.99.5

3 &*8211; In &*8220;Audio Properties&*8221; tab of converted file, the Encoder Settings are Variable Bit Rate &*8211;V 6, while in the tab &*8220;ID-Tag&*8221; they are &*8211;V=&*8221;7.5&*8221; &*8211;q=&*8221;0&*8221;.

        1) This is not a problem, if you have a 44KHz file that is 100MB, then convert to 22KHz it will now have an uncompressed size of 50MB
2 + 3) The properties page reads from the lame header, this does not contain as much details as the values that dBpoweramp wrote to the ID Tags. 2 separate values.

Thank you for the clarification Spoon. I understood the meaning attributed to the field "Original Size". And I understood too that, if there is an information divergence between the tabs &*8220;Audio Properties&*8221; and &*8220;ID-Tag&*8221;, the correct information, in principle, is the one shown in the tab &*8220;ID-Tag&*8221;.
I love Dbpoweramp and I care about its quality.
