Mono CD ripped to stereo question

So I've mistakenly ripped a mono cd to stereo - which may not have any impact at all. Here's the question - should I re-rip to mono or use the DSP to convert using the channel count to 1? Will any of this have any impact when I play the flac files? Do you think I need to set my receiver to Mono playback? Seems like if the "stereo" channels are the same it wouldn't matter. Just curious as to the best way to get true mono playback.

    Thanks,
    Drew

Use the 'Channel Mapper' effect when converting, the Channels option would downmix the 2 channels to 1 which is what you not want.
