In DSP HDCD set up do I need to check the +6db box to get full 24bit decoding

In DSP HDCD set up do I need to check the +6db box to get full 24bit decoding? This is a little confusing. I want full 24 bit decoding. Do I just hit OK or do I need to also select the box? Any help would be appreciated

No, this just effects the volume level.
