Scanning loop

I have been running Asset (Version R4.6.4 beta 3, Premium Registered) on a Raspberry Pi very successfully for some time until recently.
For some unknown reason it has got itself into a recounting / scanning loop. I have approximately 73,000 tracks and when it gets to about 40,000 tracks it starts recounting / scanning all over again.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Perhaps a memory issue? or disk space issue?

I believe if you type the command 'top' it shows the memory usage, perhaps keep an eye on it.

Yes, your diagnosis is correct. Memory creeps up from 47% (25,000 tracks, the first point at which I looked with 'top') to 85.6% (49,500 tracks) and then starts over again.
Two questions arise from this:
1) Why did it previously work with over 71,000 tracks and this has only happened when I have increased the library to 73,000 tracks (noting that it now crashes at under 50,000 tracks)?
2) If I upgrade to version 5.1 of Asset will the same problem occur?

All OK now.
I installed version R5.1 on top of version R4.6.4 beta 3 and the rescan completed successfully.
I used 'top' as you suggested previously and Asset memory usage never went above 2.3%.
Who knows why the previous version of Asset started misbehaving.
