music converter truncates WAV to MP3 files

I am having trouble converting certain WAV files to MP3. They appear to cut off after about 11 minutes. Smaller files are fine.

Convert Wave >> Wave (all set to [as source]) and convert to a different folder. Then try to play the new wave file, does it play correctly?

When converting WAV to WAV I received this error: Error converting to Wave, '<filenames>'
Error 4GB wave limit reached, consider enabling RIFF64 support. [clEncoder::EncodeBlock]

The original WAV file plays without problems.

Use the DSP Effect maximum length, set to 60 minutes, then convert wave to wave.

Same thing. The output file is truncated to 4 Gig. I have been able to work around this by converting the source file to FLAC, then converting to MP3. It appears to me that MC either cannot read a WAV file that is larger than 4G, or write one.

The spec for wave files do not allow them to go above 4GB
