Update from 14.4 to 16.1

I've updated my dbpoweramp suite from 14.4 to 16.1 following the link in the control panel and just found out that now I have 2 suite installed (the old and the new), both working. Is this normal and I should uninstall the old version or I can keep both?

Try uninstalling, then manually delete any old links to the program which still remain. Then reinstall.
