Upconversion to 384 kHz and above

I noticed that Music Converter upconverts only up to 192 kHz whenever 24 bit or 32 bit AIFF is selected. Will higher upconversion choices such as 384 kHz, 768 kHz, etc. will be offered in the future?

You can use the DSP effect 'Resample' to get the rates you want, however I would urge caution in upsampling.

      Hello Spoon,

I tried to do what you recommend, DSP effect 'Resample,' and I get the same choices that I got before. It will not give me choices beyond 32 bit 192 kHz. I tried to locate more information about the DSP effect 'Resample,' but I cannot find it anywhere. I appreciate your help.

      Thanks

Try the R16 beta version (in the testing section of this forum for Windows).

What do you expect from the upconversion?

I would like to try it with my 32 bit 384 kHz DAC.

You know, that you will not gain any extra quality but increase the filesize?

Don't worry I have plenty of hard drive space.

I don't really worry about your disc space but I don't get the point why do you want to upsample. From the sound quality point of view it don't make any sense.

It's OK; I just want to waste more space.
