CD Ripper is starting with no available surface

Hello,

since a couple of days the CD Ripper refuses to work. If i start the program (version 16.1 reference) there are two instances to be seen in the task manager, but the surface does not pop up. If i do the ALT & TAB Overview (Win 10 professional 64 bit) i can see a crippled title bar but nothing more.


Re-installing the software did not help. Any suggestions?

ok, i may have found a solution in the Thread my "cd ripper does not work" .... how specific, lol.

Somewhere at the end Spoon put a link to another thread which offers a tiny program to delete dbpoweramp data from the hard drive and/or registry. After trying this in different ways there was a window of the ripper popping up. Hoorray.

I keep you informed. And sorry for the duplicate entry ... but maybe more specific for future users :-)
