How long to let secure cd ripping churn?

Some cds show getting ripped frame by frame. It can take a day to go through a track, and in the end, the track doesn't match up to accurip database. What's the consensus on establishing a balance between getting the best rip the media will allow and getting on with life? Thanks.

No more than 20 minutes a track is what I use.

yes, after 20 minutes or so, I'd abort and clean the CD and retry (often works) or use a different CD drive (useful to have a couple of different drives to try).
