Playlist duplicated in 5.1 release

Each playlist is shown twice on the devices, although the list is only once in the assigned playlist folder. How can I get rid of these duplicated playlists? thanks, Daniel

What devices are you referring to?

Are your playlists in .m3u or .m3u8 format?

I'm using .m3u8 format and the Asset UPnP is installed on a WHS. On the WHS-drive, the playlists are stored once. Whenever I access the playlists through Asset UPnP Media Server (AVR, Notebook etc.), the playlists are shown twice.

Let me see if I can reproduce the issue. Where is your Asset playlist folder, relative to the audio library files?

What software are you creating the .m3u8 playlist files with?

The playlists are in the "root" Folder of the Artist Folders, in which the Audio files are, e.g. \\WHSName\Music\PlaylistA.m3u, \\WHSName\Music\ArtistA\SongA.mp3. I used the iTunesExport (http://www.ericdaugherty.com/dev/itunesexport/) to convert the iTunes Mediathek.XML file into M3U-playlists.

I just tried creating an .m3u8 playlist and yes, it gets duplicated.

This is not the case for .m3u playlists, so it looks like a bug in Asset R5.1.

I've created .m3u playlists instead of .m3u8, no duplicates anymore... thanks for the hint!

Strange how I cannot reproduce this, I have 1 playlist a.m3u8 and it is placed in the music root and in asset config there are 2 entries:

z:\ << music
z:\ << playlists

Browsing to playlist only 1 is listed.

Just created 'Clash, The.m3u8' playlist in foobar2000, saved to my playlist folder. Browse in Asset Control gives:

Should be fixed:

Changes: Updated presentation of Artist to be more compatible with various control points Bug Fix: Streaming short files would not allow seeking Bug Fix: Supports (upnp:class derivedfrom "object.item.audioItem.musicTrack") style searches Bug Fix: m3u8 playlists shown multiple times Bug Fix: Bubble UPnP random works
