I need to create FLAC (uncompressed) audio files for my new DAP player. Does it make any difference whether I rip tracks from the original CDs to FLACs, or from copy CDs to FLAC, or from WAV files already on my PC? Please help. Thank you.

Re: WAV to FLAC uncompressed
If I already had the WAV files and I'm sure my original WAV rips were secure, I'd simply CONVERT the WAV files to FLAC. No need to re-rip files. And you can even check many of these after conversion by using PerfectTunes to see if the albums match the AccurateRip database info.
