what is the best quality bit output for aac and mp3 in configuration converter option

I went into the dbpoweramp configuration settings to the advanced tab for the different codecs, specifically mp3 and aac there are options for bit output, 16,24,32 what is the best quality output bit to pick? or closest to what the flac files were.

I also noticed e mp3 had 16,24,32,and Iee 16,24,32, which of these would be best?

This is only for decoding from mp3 or aac, as you are likely only encoding to mp3 or aac it would not be used.

should I just use the default 16 bit settings for aac and mp3 in the configuration? I may use it since that is what is used in flac.

For clarification, I am converting from flac using the multiencoder to convert to both aac and mp3 at the same time.

        Yes leave as 16 bit.

Depends what you are decoding to? if the source was 16 bit then really there is no gain decoding to 24.
