    Playback issues

Have music ripped by db poweramp on windows 7 pc. This will play through Asset UPnP via Windows Media Player and Arcam amp. However when trying to use Asset Control or songbook it attempts to play but no sound whatsoever. (actually attempts for a second and stops) Have upgraded sound card driver, played with all the sound settings and the situation remains the same. Can anyone help? Many thanks

That is likely the issue, there is no standard to supply wma lossless through upnp. You could try dBpoweramp Renaissance as the UPnP player:

dBpoweramp Renaissance is a revitalization of dAP (dBpoweramp Audio Player), re-built from the ground up with specific unique goals. Designed to be the most efficient (in terms of memory footprint and resources used) audio player ever designed, featuring: Built in UPnP Renderer: Renaissance enables your PC as a UPnP
