Problems Converting Apple Lossless to AAC

    Hi

I've been trying to create a low res version of my Apple lossless files in my iTunes library.

I've successfully (I think) downloaded and installed the AAC codec - at least it's in the codec folder.

When I set the batch converter off, it runs through the 12,000+ files pretty quickly, and creates the new files - all of which seems to be as I specify.

The problem is that all the new files are 0 bytes big and with no metadata!

    What's going wrong?

    Thanks

    Gavin

Try this AAC encoder, it is the one we switch over to:

We will be phasing out the Nero encoder and replacing with this newer FDK version. Includes also a m4b encoder. <now released> Encoder.exe"]dBpoweramp-Codec-m4a FDK (AAC) Encoder[/URL] This install contains both 64 bit install (for dBpoweramp R15 beta 64 bit) and 32 bit install. By default the install will match

Thanks, Spoon. I'll give that a try this evening.
