Secure Rip failing with errors but Bust mode working ??

Hi,

I have recently purchased DBPoweramp Reference software.

When ripping CD's using secure rip - I am getting a lot of errors and re-rip of frames & it is taking ages.

I have for example tried a relatively new CD today (looks clean & unmarked). First I tried Secure Rip - lots of errors on each track & re-rip frames. When I re-tried using Burst ripping - the whole CD was done in a matter of minutes with no errors - i.e. Secure as in Accurate Rip.

Is something wrong / setting incorrect - for secure rip - it seems strange that I am getting better results with Burst rip mode ?

It is possible you have c2 pointers enabled, yet your drive does not support them well (ie it is giving false errors).
