Batch converter to a new folder

First off - I really like this program. Thanks you guys.

Second, can I batch convert my entire iTunes library into a new folder, rather than converting 'in place' and re-syncing with my iPod?

I did search around and couldn't find the answer.

    Thanks !

You can use dynamic naming and set a fixed root folder.

    If you use [origpath]\[origfilename]

It will use the original path and file name (stored within the new root folder)

To trim off parts of the original path you can

    [trimfirstfolder][origpath][]\[origfilename]

To trim the first folder, or

    [trimfirstfolder][trimfirstfolder][origpath][][]\[origfilename]

To remove the first 2 folders

On the same theme, I have a large collection in Flac on one drive. I want to make an identical structure on another available drive letter in MP3 with the fodlers being created as the conversion takes place. I have scratched my head several times over the years and gave up. Just to clarify, a snapshot of the structure I have is

m:\albums\m\mike smith - unheard album (and flac files stored here)
m: \albums\m\michael jackson\thriller (where more than 4 albums for one artist I put in a separate sub folder)

and I want to create the identical structure on another drive, but with the converted mp3 files.

      please advise, great ones!

Set the Folder to the new drive, and dynamic to:

        [origpath]\[origfilename]
