    Upgrading Asset

I have a Ripnas with Asset Upnp v3 and would like to upgrade to v4.1. Access from a Mac via Remote access works, the msi file has been downloaded to c:
Now I have conflicting instructions on how to do the update.
First of all, I don't see an update button in the WHS console.
Is it safe to do the manual installation then ( as for fully registered version) and how should I proceed?
    Thanks a lot in advance

    Re: Upgrading Asset

Start >> Control Panel >> and uninstall the old Asset.

    Then install the new version.

Will all existing settings be retained (hierarchies/trees, custom tags/ fields?

I am still running the last Beta of version 4. Should 4.1 install over it without wiping out settings/customizations?

Uninstall existing version, then install new. Any settings which can be preserved will be.
