Increase volume for MP3 player that doesnt support Replay Gain

    Hi
I was wanting to increase the volume on my MP3 tracks, but my player a Philips GoGear Ariaz 8gig doesnt seam to support replay gain tags

So how might I go about getting around this hurdle ?

Background: need to increase the volume as Im 60% deaf, so at full volume the player is bearly hearable

    Thanks in advance

there is an "apply replaygain" DSP in dbpa that will change the actual audio stream based on RG values. But I'm not sure that this will do what you want, as most RG values wil LOWER the volume rather than raise it. In my over 5,000 albums, it is rare to have "positive" RG values. Google for mp3gain. It may allow you to increase the volume of the tracks.
