How to store corrections on Unkown CD tracks ?

I have a number of CD's which are appearantly unknown to any of the databases which dbpoweramp reference is using.
Yet they are perfectly normal and professional productions.
DBPA correctly ripps the tracks, the titles of which I can enter in the list.
However the titles entered are not transferred (saved) in the directory and it's files names.
The filenames stay the same like track01.fac
Actually the next unknown CD could overwrite the first set of ripped tracks (the album artist being "various artists" in both cases.

What could I do wrong ?
Is there a radiobutton or command to save the entered changes ?

    regards
    Ben

Enter the titles before ripping, select a track and press F2 to edit the name (in CD Ripper)

Dear Spoon, thanks for your prompt reply.

But this would be before DBPA shows that it does not recognise the CD. Or ?
It would make sens to edit the names afterwards and have a possibility to save the new situation.

It is always best to set correct tags before ripping, before you click 'rip' you correct the tags. Also set an album art.

after ripping, you can use DSP ID TAG UPDATE to edit your tags. And I believe you can then use "arrange audio" dsp to reorganize your files (directory location) and change file names. mp3tag can also handle both these tasks. But as spoon says, it is best to put in the CD, when data is not found, go ahead and enter track info, artist info, etc. BEFORE clicking the RIP button.

            Dear Garym and Spoon
            Thanks, this works fine.
I use "Review Metadata" and correct the data before ripping.
Perhaps your instruction could be added to the quick step plan.
