Not Detecting Both Sets of mp3 Tags

    Hi.

I have some mp3's with different v1 and v2 tags. I can see both tags in Winamp, Foobar etc but if I rightclick a file in Windows Explorer the Audio Properties tab only lists the v1 tag.

    Any ideas?

dBpoweramp currently cannot read ID3v2.4 tags.

      Thanks for replying.

Is there an easy way to confirm that the ignored tags are ID3v2.4? Maybe a 3rd party utility?

Is it possible to convert these tags to ID3v2.3? Again, maybe a 3rd party utility?

      Thanks again.

Foobar should show what version they are.

          Foobar just says:
          id3v2|id3v1
Is there another way to confirm they are 2.4?

Is there an easy way to convert them?

          Thanx again.

Not that I am aware of, perhaps mp3tag can help.

Re: Not Detecting Both Sets of mp3 Tags

mp3tag was able to confirm that the tags were v2.4.

It was also able to convert them to 2.3 easily.

              Thanx again.
