    Asf

Hello everybody. I have this game in which all the music files are in .ASF format. I don't really like the music, so I'm trying to replace it with my own. I ripped some of my CD's with Windows Media Player (to .WMA) but I'm having trouble getting them to work as .ASF. The main site here had a page (http://unclegus.150m.com/ASFSyncTutorial.htm) that said if you need to convert .WMA>.ASF, simply rename it. Well I did, put the file in the game's music folder, and when the game tries to pull it up, everything goes right, except there's nothing but silence. I know my process has gone wrong somewhere, so how do I convert CD tracks to .ASF files? Thank you for any help in advance.

It is possible that the ASF files are not ASF files (Need for Speed, ASF files are not Windows Media ASF files), to check try to play one of the ASF files in Windows Media Player.

That's esactly the game. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2. Are you familiar with it and the music format? And if not, how can I find out what format the files really are?

I found the answer on a Flight Simulation forum (they've helped me with some quite unusual subjects) so I guess you don't have to worry about this anymore. If you want the answer (assuming you don't know it) here's the thread: http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/ya...num=1056434073

Thanks for your help anyways, thanks a lot.
