Slow play in ipod

I converted flac file to applelossless with dBpoweramp and imported it to my iPod classic g7. Now the file is playing at a very slow speed. Did anyone ran into this problem and /or know how to make the applelossless run at normal speed?
Any help is appreciated, thanks.

What is the frequency of the FLAC file, is it 44.1KHz?
