I know what his happening, your drive E must be the CD Drive.

I think there is a slight bug in the new release that does not auto-unselect the output to 'Same as Original' when doing a CD.

Anyway, from Audio CD Input - select the menu next to Rip and click 'Rip with Options (right click)'

            hey,

I get the same error.. but not ripping from a cd.. converting to wav.

The output file 'Settings\Owner\Desktop\Temp\CDRW\(20) Song 1.wav' could not be opened.

            Any Ideas?

Try converting to just C:\(20) Song 1.wav

              does that work?

                  r.rindler-
Please see this thread at the FAQ section for dMC (dBpowerAMP Music Converter):
In Audio CD Input >> Options Menu >> Standard CD Player Emulation >> make sure the option 'Table of contents detection' is switched off.

Should this not help, please let us know.
                  Best wishes,
                  Bill Mikkelsen

And use 'Audio CD Input' program.
