discWelder Chrome problem with dbPoweramp converted WAVs

I have this weird problem with discWelder Chrome not being able to encode WAVs created with dbPa from FLACs. Ones created with foobar2000 work fine but I get the following errors with dbPa WAVs:

    1st msg:

    resample returned 2

    2nd msg:

    Recorder Error:
    The mirroring operation failed.
    54
    Error resampling "C:\temp\01 - TRACK 1"

Does anyone know what is causing this problem and how to resolve it?

    Thanks for any help.

Run dbpoweramp configuration >> Codecs >> Advanced

    and disable wave id tagging.

Thanks Spoon for your quick reply. I changed 'Wave ID Tagging->Tag Creation' to (none). That didn't work. I then also changed 'Wave Encoder->Write Extensible Header' to 'Never'. Unfortunately that didn't work either.

The wave file would be a very simple wave file (only header and data), perhaps discwelder does not like spaces in the filename.

No unfortunately that's not it because the filename is the same for the foobar2k-generated files.

I don't know if this will be helpful but here's a listing of the differences in the two generated WAVs:

            foobar2000:

dpPoweramp with tagging and extensible header disabled:

These both appear at the beginning of the file so I assume they are both headers. The data that follows is identical for both files.

BTW this only occurs when I try to create a mirrored VIDEO_TS. It creates DVD-A files fine but not DVD-V files. When I edit out the extra header data it works for both A and V.

Use the DSP effect ID Tag Processing and delete all tags when converting (there is a Bext tag being written as a bext specific tag is passed from the source file).

Bingo! That did it. It is now identical to the fb2k file and it works as well in discWelder. Thanks for your help!
