Discs disappearing from the AccurateRip DB?

    Spoon

I've encountered something weird... I was ripping two discs last night that I know were in the AccurateRip DB, but now are not. I am certain that I've received an AccurateRip match on each disc in the past.

    The discs in question are...

    1) 311 - From Chaos (2001)
    2) 311 - Evolver (2003)

Both discs were purchased from an actual store and are in great condition.

Why would the discs disappear from the DB?

It has been discussed on HA.
Submisssions from virtual drives have been purged.

I remember Spoon saying that any submissions from systems using virtual drives get tossed immediately... but I don't use any virtual drives. Why would my previous submissions of these CD's be gone? They should still be in the DB, should they not?

You submit, disc has Confidence of 1, this disc would appear in the db. Another guy submits a different pressing, then neither discs would be present until a 3rd person verifies by submitting.

That is good to know. I have been curious why some of my older jazz CDs don't always show up after a few months or even a year after I rip them. Some of them had have mutliple pressings and probably don't get ripped to often.
