Re: C2 error pointers support or not (please help)

Drives report whether they support C2 error flags, but some drives that do not support them say they do. Therefore, the only way to test is to have some scratched CDs.

If I were stuck in your situation, I'd ask a friend for a very scratched CD to test with. If I had no friends with scratched CDs, then I'd copy an audio CD to a CD-R using the appropriate tools, then scratch that using a knife or sandpaper and use that to run the test.

You need a scratched CD, or create a scratched CD (by rubbing on the floor).

If all my cds are in pretty good condition, is it necessary to choose this C2 support option?

          Thanks in advance!!!

They can help detect consistent errors
