    rync algorithm useful for accuraterip?

I found the below article interesting, I was wondering if any of the ideas discussed within could be beneficial for utilization in accuraterip.

AccurateRip does not store the original audio data.

No, but I don't think it would need to.

The accuraterip client could assume the role of the rsync server (it has the audio data), and the accuraterip server could assume the role of the rsync client (it has stored checksum(s)) which is then checked against the ripped audio data using sliding crc windows or whatever.

Of course I don't know if or how that would even be beneficial, but it just seemed to me that rsync and accuraterip both provide similar things (efficient comparison/verification of same data sets), maybe some of it could help accuraterips future scaling.
