    Ripping my (pc´s) heart out

I just upgraded from the demo version and tried to rip a cd to mp3
Ok it worked, but it sounded like the cd was going to explode!
It was as if the two processors were both trying to read the cd
at the same time and competing with each other.
    Hope you can help

Which version did you buy? What settings have you set as regards to error correction? Does this happen with other CDs?

Perhaps you had 2 programs (cd rippers) running at the same time?

        thanks for your replies
can´t find anywhere that tells me what version i´m using
i tried converting just one track and that´s fine
i suppose it is just that the cd is changing position fast and
making a noise when multiple tracks are selected
but it didn´t happen with the trial version and it just doesn´t sound
        good
definitely not two copies of the program running
