wma 9 losseless 5.1 channel not found?

hello !!!
I have wm player 9 but I steal can't convert to 5.1 channel?
Do I need 5.1 hardware support for this conversion?
I now downloading wma 9 codecs from this site,meybe will be better
I convert to 2 channels wma 9 (CBR,VBR) correctly.
And I must sey dbPowerAmp is a great tool!!! )

To convert to 5.1 you need a source file that has 6 channels of audio.
