Scripting Issue - zero length WAV file

    Hi

I'm invoking dbpowerAMP via the scripting interface from some VB code, and mostly its working just fine.

However, I have one annoying issue:

I'm using a DSP "run external program" to run my code after each track is ripped by the CDRipper. My code then creates some alternative formats for the ripped track (again using poweramp) and finally deletes the original ripped file.

However, once my program has finished dbpowerAMP seems to re-create the original file with a zero size before starting to rip the next track. I am therefore left with a bunch of zero-length files at the end of a CD rip.

Is there any way to stop this from happening?

    Many thanks

    Julian

You are perhaps best using the multi-encoder, the program will try to write ID Tags to the wave file, you could try disabling ID Tags for wave files (dbpoweramp configuration >> codecs >> advanced options).
