    character set problem

for me, dMC works like a champ, except one very annoying problem. Whenever I convert the bitrate of a song, the program changes characters like "ì, ĩ, ô, é" into "i, o, e" or sometimes "I".
these characters, I believe, belongs to the standard ascii. any comments?
    thanks

What are your file types? if they are mp3 what are the tags - v1 or v2?

sorry, i've been out of town for a while,
those are mp3's and id3v2 tag only. As far as I know, v2 even supports unicode and thus, it shouldn't be a problem saving in such format.

I will note it down as a bug, and look at it when I next can.
