    Newbie: Batch Conversion - Synchronization

I am running R12 referrence on Vista 32 Ultimate, Quad Core, RAID 0 etc.
I rip using CD Ripper to WMA Lossless and those files go into Artists-aligned sub-directories. I then periodically run a batch process to convert the WM super-directory and its subs to MP3 320 kbps. I used to use WMP Audio Converter to do this and it had the facility to not convert files that were unchanged. This meant that new conversion passes picked up only new (and changed) files without reconverting old files unnecessarily. Does the same capability exist for DMC? I expect that it does because it seems so obvious unless people only do a one-time only conversion. I also looked for a fiel date filter - to pick up files as of a date. No luck. Any ideas or solutions? Thank you.

dMC would prompt you to overwrite the existing files. You can simply click "No to All" and it would not replace the existing files, thereby skipping existing files.
