    .DAT convertion fails

    Hi there,

I used dbPowerAmp for quite a long time and it rulez but I had a problem this morning trying to rip music out of my vcds.

The audio is always wrong. It plays faster and with sort of flanging and noise behind.

I tried the mp3pro decoder too as I have seen someone had a similar problem but this did not fix anything.

    Please help me :D

Make sure you removed the old mp3 decoder, you will possibly have to rename the .dat file to .mp3

I also have same problem to convert VCD (.DAT) to wav. But after I instal MP3PRO and try to convert .DAT file that already been renamed to .mp3, it came out with error message "The CODEC required to decompress 'D:\Temp\avseq03.mp3' could not be opened.". Please advise.

Try converting a normal mp3 file, does that work?

Yes. Normal mp3 file can be converted to wav file with MP3Pro installed. I had also try with installed VCD input Codec but the output wav file will play faster than original.
