dMC converts mp3 to wav incorrectly

I have an mp3 that when converted to a wav file by dMC is sped up (song length shortens by 20 seconds and voice pitch is increased like the chipmunks). It is the first mp3 I have that does this with dMC. However, when I convert the mp3 to wav using Winamp, it comes out fine. Possible bug in wav encoder?

I am using dMC version 9a with Power Pack 3.

It is the mp3 decoder, the only way around it is to install the mp3pro decoder.
