weird problem

After years of happy use I seem to be having a problem with my converter. First I got an unable to read media error messabe from my plextor player. Then after trying different settings the conversion worked but everything played at a slow speed.

Was something installed? new drivers or such?

nothing new has been installed on my computer recently. I did uninstall the converter and reinstall the newest version. Am still getting the slow play back.

Are any other programs experiencing similar problems?

Have you tried going into the registry editor (Start>>Run>>regedit) and deleting HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Illustrate which would restore all DMC settings back to their defaults?
