Auxiliary Input is your best shot, in all honesty.
There isn't a program that I know of that will rip music DVDs, since most music DVDs are DVD-Audio which have copy protection different from movie DVDs.

Music DVDs (as in concerts on DVD Video discs, not DVD-Audio) can be ripped if you have the knowledge. If you can find a copy of DVD Decrypter (I can't link to it, but I'm sure you can Google it), you can use that to directly rip the AC3 stream from the DVD and convert it to any format you like using the dBpowerAMP codecs available.

Doom9.org also has some good tutorials for ripping DVDs.

I actually used Smartripper to extract the AC3 sound...

So is it possible to convert 6 channel Ac3 via dbpoweramp to a WAV format?

Possibly. You can convert .ac3 to WAV, mp3, etc. but I'm not sure if the AC3 Filter will handle 6-channel files.
