UPC - based disc library

I would like to make a UPC-based music library, since I own same albums in (many) different editions and UPC number is probably the only way how to correctly identify batch ripped CD´s.
Unfortunatelly when I use PerfectMeta, the UPC number is usually wrong. Is there a way...
