Volume Normalize and Trim Silence

Hello! I've looked at the TuneFusion customizing settings and clicked on the question mark in the app itself to get information but alas... I am a newby to this stuff. Would you help me to find any in depth reading on how to choose which type and configure volume normalizing and correct settings for...

I have a question about the Trim Silence DSP in the Music Converter. It gives the option to trim either:

"Digital Silence 0's" or "Any Value Below -45 dB (0.6%)"

I select Digital Silence 0's as I only want to remove actual digital silence.
