Slow and glitchy with Denon DNP-800E

Hi,

I have a fully licensed version of Asset running on a Synology NAS.

This is brand new (just received toady). I was previously using a Marantz NA-6005 and there was no problem, I was really happy.

However Using with the Denon it is so slow and unresponsive....

Every time I refresh the PerfectTunes library, it takes forever. Almost 5 hours for about 5k tracks. Granted the music is stored on a NAS.

Is this the expected level of performance? MP3tag and Media Monkey are both much faster loading the same library.

I've used the dBpoweramp music converter several times without a problem. But I am trying to convert a Batch from FLAC to ALAC,

I have 2 Panasonic Blu-Ray players, 1 wired, 1 wireless. Playback of music is slow on both players, say 1/2 speed, when using Asset. Twonky & Plex both work fine. Asset does work ok on my OPPO BDP-93. Any ideas?

In Vista I have the "Length" column displayed in folders. When I go into a folder it takes a long time to show all the tracks. Is there anything I can do to speed it up?

Just bought the full registered version. I am converting my flac files to MP3 at Quality (VBR) Medium. The problem I am having is that the encoding speed is only topping out at around 2x. I have tried a test conversion and am getting 887x.

My specs are: i5 730, ATI HD 5770 black, 8 GB...
