Does the dBpoweramp Music Converter Scripting interface support non-ANSI strings? I expect that it would, because the COM BSTR type is a wide character string. I'm having trouble passing non-ANSI strings to WriteIDTag and AudioProperties from a Perl script, and I just wanted to make sure that the issue...

I LOVE DB poweramp and especially the CD Ripper, but I need a little help with my script for naming and locating files when ripping.

At present I am using the following:

I'm using the batch converter to convert some folders with music. In "normal" albums, I'd like this directory/filename structure: [artist] - [album] ([year]) [MP3 V0]\[track] - [title]

However, and as expected, in a VA (Various Artists)/Compilation...
