i have a dublette of an album. one of those albums was ripped 2 years back, yesterday i ripped the other one (both to flac files). the ripping was done on different machines with different cd-drives.
then i checked both logfiles:...

I have the following (technical) question and no matter how hard I google, I can't seem to find the answer.
- What is inside the FLAC container that stores the sound. My understanding is that WAV holds PCM through the RIFF format.

Converting PCM files
I've tried to search but can only find information for the old versions of poweramp.
I have PCM files that I would like to convert to mp3 - is there a plugin to do this? -
Feedback on a big dMC session
I've just spent 5 days converting our wav library to HE-AAC (M4A), using dMC.
I wanted to feed back my thoughts on the conversion publically.
First, the good news:
dMC correctly converted 10,341 tracks in PCM (44.1k/16-bit) WAVE format to M4A (400kbps HE-AAC)...
