I have an issue with noise in my ripped CDs. It's difficult to describe... Perhaps it is best compared to the sound of dust on a vinyl record, but not so randomly, but repetitively in a specific pattern. The volume of the noise changes, is stronger and then weaker again.

Hi all.
I have found a live concert withe clear sound but there is much background noise in in the tracks, i think it is from an old cassette or something. I wonder if i can use "DSP effects" to remove some of the noise when i convert from FLAC to mp3, or if you have another tip... -
Clicks and pops in ripped music
Every ripped CD has clicks and pops in the music and in between tracks, regardless whether the track is verified as accurate or not. I have a really fast CPU (Sandy Bridge 8 core), ASUS P8P67 motherboard, 4 internal CD/DVD/BD drives, and am ripping to the fastest SSD drive I could find at the time...
