Cant rip CDs accurately with new bdrw drive

Hi,
my old 5.25 drive died, and without giving it foolishly much of a thought, just ordered a random 4k/br/dvd/cd rw from Amazon.

The drive is USB-C Verbatim External Slimline Bluray Writer, which inside is Pioneer bd-rw bdr-UD04.

I just bought a new laptop (Asus) and it has no internal CD drive. Got an external drive on USB (Asus also). DBpoweramp works well with this (recognized in seconds), however Accuraterip state s my drive as "unknown" when asking for a key disc. I've tried with 3 different disc's...

When my internal CD/DVD drive failed I purchased an LG BE14NU40 BluRay USB3.0 drive. I can play audio and video from the drive. But I cannot rip from the drive. This is the sort of error I get for every track:
