Error report converting .aif to .m4a - 'Error Chunk is out of file.'

I have just updated to 14.3 and now, when converting a set of tracks from AIFF to Apple Lossless I get an error report for about half of the tracks as follows:

I get this error when attempting to convert file from wav to mp3

Error converting to mp3 (Lame), 'C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\My Music\ Red Riding Hood.wav' to 'C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\My Music\Li'l Red Riding Hood.mp3'
Error Chunk is out of file. ...
