CD Ripper 16.2/Windows 10 - folder permissions weirdness

Hi

I hope someone can help me... I recently upgraded to 16.2 on my 64-bit W10 machine. I wasn't having any problems before this, so I am assuming that this may well be the source of the problems I'm experiencing.

Basically, I usually use dbpoweramp in multi-encodign mode...

CD Ripper has started to drop file extensions on my computer. Instead of a file extension like ".flac," I am getting file names that end in "._"

Hi Guys,

Every now and then I have to enter data for a CD that's not in the library.

To do this , in v15 I could start on the field called "album", fill that in then hit tab to jump to "Artist", "compilation", "year" and so on....

Until recently I would see metadata providers - usually four.
Now I see none.
The metadata providers are all selected on the pull-down Meta menu. CD-text is NOT selected.
The CDs I'm ripping have never been near this computer before.
What am I doing wrong?
