Ripping severely limited in speed

Hi everyone,

I seem to have a problem with dBPowerAmp's CD Ripper. The ripping speed is way too slow, it seems to be capped at 8x-12x in general.

First some background

I used to have a TSSTCorp SH-224BB drive but I threw it out recently because...

Personalizing Genre Pulldown List

To The CD Ripper Developers:

How is the 'Genre' pulldown list populated? I have noticed that some of my personal genres are present but not all that have been used (entered) during the course of ripping over 4,000 CDs. What is the logic and how can I control (modify, add, delete entries)...

CD Ripper Doesn't Register Scanned Album Art

Lately CD ripper has been rejecting my scanned album art. That is, I scan, my scanned image shows up in the box at the bottom of the ripping page, but what turns up in the album folder, after ripping is completed, is the (incorrect) art that the Metadata had located.

Curiously, the scanned...

Ripping errors on last 2-3 tracks

About 10% of my CDs are having trouble ripping the last 1-3 tracks. At first I was running with the default settings for CD Ripper. I ran into a couple of last track errors which I was able to recover by ripping again 2-3 times.

After I started finding more CDs with trouble I reset...

How do I rip Hi-Res MP3 files from CDs?

I want to know if I can rip MP3 files from CD in Hi-Res format: 24/96 or 24/192. Is this possible?
What settings/DSP effects would i need to setup?

If I can only rip 16-bit 44.1KHz (or 48KNz) files, can I use Converter to up-sample tracks to Hi-Res after they are ripped?

Hi, I'm new to dBpoweramp and have just downloaded and installed the current version (R14.2).
