  1. Re: Mixed up versions of Pink Floyd DSOTM - can Accuraterip help?

    Excellent!
  2. Re: Mixed up versions of Pink Floyd DSOTM - can Accuraterip help?

be sure and enter the album name with brackets in the metadata itself (tags). Then it doesn&*8217;t matter if the files get moved into different folders.
  3. Re: Mixed up versions of Pink Floyd DSOTM - can Accuraterip help?

Would the file properties "date created" give you any clues as to which is which? (that is, you might recall the order you acquired these disks).

going forward, I suggest you include some...

virtually any drive will work well. That's the beauty of secure ripping with AccurateRip matches. I have 2 or 3 cheap drives, some salvaged from older desktops. Not sure the brands. I find that a CD...

Re: Question, before something goes wrong

seems like the easist thing to do is to do the batch convert, converting all mp3 and m4a files to FLAC. Then afterwards you can use a single command to delete all the *.mp3 and *.m4a files inside...
  6. Re: Music app refuses to acknowledge PT's fixes

if the music app works like the older itunes app, then the artwork and metadata is stored in a special apple database. Updating the info by itself doesn't update the apple info database. Reloading...

    Re: help

What is the F drive? is it NAS or network drive? If so, perhaps you haven't setup permission to write to that drive.
  10. Re: I would like to clarify two questions please

foobar2000 can read your cue files and convert to separate tracks. As spoon notes you are misinterpreting how lossy codecs work by trying to compare quality with the frequency graphs. It simply...

not clear if this was ever answered, but if you are simply getting "inaccurate" messages, this is not a corrupt file. Inaccurate simply means that the file does not match the information in the...
  12. Re: Apply De-emphasis to CD tracks marked with Pre-Emphasis

Best practices for HDCD may be ripping as normal CD, otherwise one is not creating a bit perfect copy of the CD. Then one can create a version modifed for HDCD (24 bit) to use as well. See this...

Re: Sorting Albums by flac sample rate.

For any hi-res albums I have, I just put [24-96] or [24-192] as the end of the album name.
    e.g.,

    ARTIST: Grateful Dead
    ALBUM: American Beauty [24-96]

Sticky: Re: CD Drive Accuracy 2019

PerfectTunes can compare previously ripped files to the AR database. But dbpoweramp CD ripper (different program) uses AR in the ripping verification process.

Re: Initial Caps on file names after ripping

I believe you can add this DSP (or a similar ID tag DSP) to the DSP section in the ripper program, so this is automatically done after ripping.

    Re: Still confused about offsets

Thanks for the clarification. This is very weird. I've not seen anything like this. I've probably ripped over 80,000 tracks (many thousands of CDs) with dbPoweramp and I've never seen this outcome. ...
