Re: Using Perfect Tunes on a Mac. How do I import songs?
New beta version posted-
Current version: R2.2 beta 2 Download: <now released> Changes since R2.1: Changed remember-window-position semantics Fixed search not working in Album Art tool Less confusing ID Tags / Folders view behavior when dealing with tagless files Changes in beta 2: Fixed missing dropdown list for configuring external album
The behavior when navigating folders with tagless files is less confusing now.Leave a comment:

Re: Using Perfect Tunes on a Mac. How do I import songs?
Thanks for your feedback.
The blank rows are indeed confusing, at first I thought we're entirely missing WAV file format support, but that is not the case.
Files with no tags whatsoever are currently shown as blank rows. If you scroll around, you will find the filename column at the end which does show correct values. You can drag-reorder the columns to put the filename column first.
We'll be changing this for a future update since this can indeed be extremely confusing at first.Leave a comment:

Did you use the unregistered windows version? If so, I am not sure what is going on.Last edited by mville; June 13, 2018, 06:52 PM.Leave a comment:

The following is an extract from this webpage: PerfectTUNES
Unregistered Version has these limitations:
Album Art: displays possible matches, but will not save art
ID Tags: does not write ID Tags, but does allow browsing and shows recommendations
De-Dup: shows duplicates but does not enable deletionLeave a comment:

Re: Using Perfect Tunes on a Mac. How do I import songs?
In Album Edit Mode there isn't a place to put the title of the song?
I did it in Mixed Track Editing but it didn't save. Is that because it's an unregistered version?Leave a comment:

Re: Using Perfect Tunes on a Mac. How do I import songs?
Here's something odd
I've attached a screen cap
The McCartney song is the MP3. The highlighted blue row under McCartney is the Cream song. It doesn't display anything except the time length of the song
Prior to the McCartney MP3 being in the same folder, the Cream song would not show up. It's almost like the Cream WAV needed the McCartney MP3 in the same folder just to be visible.Leave a comment:

Re: Using Perfect Tunes on a Mac. How do I import songs?
Yes it shows the MP3
But I all my files are lossless wav
So what's the next step?Leave a comment:

As a test try putting an mp3 file in that folder, does it show the file?Leave a comment:

When I select the Cream folder, as in the attached screen shot in post *3, should the songs just appear or am I missing something?Leave a comment:

Re: Using Perfect Tunes on a Mac. How do I import songs?
Last week I was able to use it on my Windows PC. Unfortunately that PC died and I bought a new iMac. I can't believe that I can't import songs to PT using an iMac. It was so easy on Windows. I can find the music folder, but the songs just don't appear. I can't drag and drop either. @Spoon Hope you can help because I'd really like to buy this program for my new iMac.Leave a comment:

I tried from the Mac too, and I can't get any songs to appear in Perfect Tunes. Is it because I have the trial edition?Leave a comment:
